Fans and golfers alike were excited to be in-person for the 2021 AT&T Byron Nelson Classic, hosted at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. After last year’s tournament was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, this year’s event was even more meaningful.
Outfitting the private golf club for this PGA tournament is no small task. Besides maintaining perfect greens, entire structures, displays, and tents need to be constructed to accommodate the large crowds present at these events.
To handle the elaborate logistics of bringing in and removing these large structures, the course relied on Corrigan Logistics to coordinate the process. Our team managed the loads, set the schedule and handled the transportation in and out. In total, 14 enclosed vans and more than 60 flatbeds were needed to bring in and remove all the fixtures for the event. Corrigan’s expertise in project management and white glove logistics allowed us to successfully execute this project.
As we are wrapping up this project, Corrigan Logistics reflects on the excitement that AT&T Byron Nelson Classic brought to the area. As we take steps towards a return to normal, events like this are a bight light everyone looks forward to seeing.
